PET/PETE
Polyethylene Terephthalate
Used in beverage bottles and food containers, PET is favored for its clear, durable nature and recyclability.
Examples: Water bottles, soda/juice bottles, seasoning containers
HDPE
High Density Polyethylene
Used for sturdy containers like detergent bottles, HDPE is widely used, and commonly recycled.
Examples: Alcohol/ vitamin/medication bottles, cleaning agents containers
LDPE
Low-density polyethylene
Commonly used for plastic bags provided in markets and sari sari stores. It is less commonly recycled.
Examples: Plastic bags or packaging, Sachets and snack packs
PP
Polypropylene
PP is often seen in containers for condiments such as soy sauce and vinegar as well as packaging for snacks. It is widely recycled.
Examples: Containers, cups, straws, utensils, lids, plastic tubs, school supplies
CONDITIONS
Collected plastics undergo quality checks to ensure they meet our standards before recycling.
Must be clean and dry
Acceptable with stains, chips/cracks, tapes, labels, tears, or holes
No food, leftover residue, or foul smells
